Light Walk
The second HPS after school workshop was lots of fun! It was a beautiful fall afternoon with lots of light, a little wind and just enough warmth.
During the workshop we took a close look at light, shadow and aperture; and we learned how light will bend when it passes through small holes. When researching this topic online I found a video of Bob Miller’s “Light Walk” from the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Here is a link to more information… http://www.exploratorium.edu/bob-miller/light-walk
Students also peered through a view camera from under a dark cloth and I took a photo of the whole group with it.
Next week we will learn about the earliest known photograph and make sun print photograms.
